A shared identifier needs an attribution rule

Define available identifiers, tag lifetime, and source priority. Account separately for events without an established source connection.

Minimum context

A game event contains partner, visitor, and game identifiers, type, amount, and time. The visitor identifier must retain its meaning across streams. For financial calculations, agree currency and amount semantics separately.

Events and meaning

Game launch

The game launched. This is neither a bet nor a deposit.

Game action

A game action. Amounts and currency need a separate specification.

Session end

A session ended. Its termination rule must be defined.

Stream quality

Define event uniqueness, duplicate and late-event handling, clock skew, and required fields. Events with unknown sources should not be silently assigned to a campaign.
