Know who can see the data
Clear access rules, traceable event sources, and agreed methodology underpin trust in measurement.
Access scope and the data to be transferred are agreed before integration.
Neutrality should be verifiable
Playerly connects provider game events to traffic sources. Measurement scope, each party’s access, and how results may be used are agreed before integration.
Data access rules
The Data Protection Policy and DPA define how the client directs data sharing and the basis on which Playerly processes it.
| Who | Basis of access |
|---|---|
| Client | Determines recipients, data scope, purposes, access duration, and conditions. |
| Affiliates and operators | Receive selected data at the client’s direction and within the authorized scope. |
| Playerly team and contractors | Access the data needed to perform their duties, subject to confidentiality obligations. |
| Authorization changes | The client may amend or withdraw authorization to share data. |
Event origin and integrity
Measurement starts with game-session events. Integration defines each event’s origin, validation rules, and reconciliation process. Missing events and duplicates are considered separately from changes in player activity.
Consistent numbers need consistent rules
Parties need consistent definitions of sessions, players, and returns. Reconciliation must account for time windows, timezone, currency, missing events, and duplicates.
What to request before connecting
Request company details, an agreed access matrix, an event inventory, processing and retention terms, deletion arrangements, and a technical integration description.
