Playerly and affiliate trackers
Acquisition context and in-game behavior answer different questions about the same campaign.
Compare the answers your team needs
Start with available data and access boundaries. Then establish which part of the question your current stack answers.
| Question | Required data | What to agree |
|---|---|---|
| Where did the player come from? | Source and identifier | Matching rule |
| What happened in the game? | Game-event stream | Event types and completeness |
| Who returned? | Identifier and time | Cohort and observation window |
| Who sees the result? | Agreed metric set | Permissions and access scope |
Where visibility ends
A tracker knows clicks, campaigns, and the events sent to it. Without game events, it cannot independently reconstruct session depth or returns.
What game context adds
Playerly is intended to connect sources with game events. A postback can return an agreed result to the tracker. Specific identifier and event support is validated during integration.
When you may not need another layer
If your tracker already receives the required game events, compare specific gaps: provider views, methodology, access, and maintenance. An additional tool should solve an identified problem.
